Cranberry Apple Cider Punch

 

6 cups apple cider

2 cups cranberry juice

1 cup orange juice

½ cup fresh lemon juice

1 bottle (750 milliliters) sparkling grape juice or sparkling wine

slices of apples & oranges, cranberries (for garnish)

In a large pitcher combine apple cider, orange juice, cranberry juice, and lemon juice. Stir in the sparkling white grape juice or sparkling wine. Add sliced fruit. Serve.

 

*Freeze the Cranberries to help chill the punch with out watering it down.

Chicken-Bacon-Ranch Baked Pasta

 

1 lb pasta, cooked and drained

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo pasta sauce

1/2 cup ranch dressing

6 slices chopped cooked bacon

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)

Salt & Pepper to Taste

 

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease or spray 13x9-inch pan. Cook pasta according to package directions. Place 1 lb cooked and drained pasta back in the pan it was cooked in mix in 2 cups shredded cooked chicken, 1 jar (15 oz) alfredo pasta sauce , 1 cup of the cheese, bacon, salt & pepper and 1/2 cup ranch dressing. Stir to combine. Pour mixture in 13x9 inch pan; spread evenly top with remaining cheese and bake for 20 min.

** Try different flavor a of alfredo sauce or ranch to change the flavor of the dish

Rice and Chicken Bake

Rice and Chicken Bake

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 1/3 cup water

1 cup Instant rice

1 packet Italian dressing

1 1/2 cups chicken cut in to bite size pieces

3/4 cup cheddar cheese

Cook chicken with a little bit of the Italian dressing and butter until no longer pink. Mix together soup, water, seasoning, half of the cheese and rice and pour in an 8x8 baking dish. Stir in chicken pieces and top with remaining cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350ยบ for 30 minutes.

2 (16oz) cans peaches in heavy syrup

1 box yellow cake mix

2 sticks butter (real butter taste best)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Preheat oven to 375

Empty peaches in to 9x13 pan. Cut peaches in to smaller pieces and spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with dry cake mix and press down firmly. Cut butter in to small pieces and place on top of cake mix evenly. You can top with nuts if desired. Bake for 45min

Hoppin John Soup

 

1 pound sausage

1 small onion

1 can black eyed peas

3 bay leaves

1/4 cup grated carrots

2oz pimentos

1 cup minute rice

Brown sausage with onion. Drain. In large pot add black-eye peas, bay leaves, grated carrots, pimentos, sausage onion mixture salt and pepper cover with water and cook 25-30 min till peas are tender. Remove from heat And add minute rice cover and let set at least 10 minutes. Serve with cornbread and top with cheese.
